1,Description
The SOM-ET-AM62 is a core board launched by Shenzhen EMTOP Technology Co., Ltd., based on the TI AM623x/AM625x series embedded CPU. It adopts a core board + baseboard design, with an ultra-small size of 50x40mm, complete interface design, and rich peripheral interfaces, facilitating users to directly integrate project development.
The TI AM623x/AM625x is a collection of high-performance, ultra-efficient processors, which is the latest high-performance, low-power processor collection launched by TI. It adopts up to 4x ARM Cortex-A 53 cores, with a maximum operating speed of 1.4G Hz, and integrates a Cortex M4F MCU with a frequency of up to 400MHz and an R5F real-time processing unit. The TI AM623x/ AM625x application processors include an integrated power management module, reducing the complexity of external power supplies and simplifying power-up sequencing, and a graphics processor (AM625x) compliant with OpenGL ES3.1 and Vulkan 1.2, along with a PRU subsystem. At the same time, the AM62XX integrates a rich set of peripheral resources, depending on the positioning of the CPU sub-model, with up to 1 *LCD controller, 1* LVDS, 2 *RGMII, 2*OTG interfaces, 3* CAN -FD, 1 *CS interface, 3*SPI, 3*SDIO, 9*UART, 6*I2C, 5*SPI, 3*MCASP, 3*PWM, and 2x PRU subsystems.
The EVK -AM62 is a high-cost performance, easy-to-use, and stable development kit designed by Shenzhen EMTOP Technology Co., Ltd. based on the interface characteristics and function definitions of the TI AM625x and AM623x series CPUs. The target application scenarios are as follows:
